Quel dilemma!

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-30 - 18:20:54

ok ok i know my french is tres terrible! I havnt even taken the subject for 2 year and when I did I didnt exactly pay attention. Me and Em just sat at the back and ate tictacs...think the teacher dispaired of us in the end....

Anyways as I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, the bus didnt arive for us on monday which was tres annoying although I think we did finally manage to get it sorted out after a lot of angry phonecalls and such...

On another subject if anyone's interested you can see some of my poetry on the link below if you follow the links to my profile. Obv that poem is mine too so yeah...

headache city here I come

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-26 - 16:00:51

Ok, so I know I probably shouldnt have stayed up late last night watching I am Legend, but Will Smith is just so good and it's quite a good movie even without his looks to help it along. I dont like the end though, it's so unbelievably twee and unbelievable =/.

Anyways, because I stayed up late last night I now have a major headache. Thankfully I have finished all the tasks I set myself for today, although there is still a lot of revision that I should not be avoiding by hiding out in here...

Ah well...

A whisper in the symphony of time...

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-25 - 16:57:55

Well, if you think about it like that then that's all anything is. Each person and item makes up their part of the whole and that is what makes the world itself. Because (I'm thinking very philosophically at the moment) each instrument in an orchestra has it's place and each person and item has it's place in the world, allowing others to continue in theirs. Each person's actions affects others etc.

Anyways, off that sombre and slightly boring topic i shalt tell you all about my day...

English revision sessions at lunch was cancelled, so that was good because it meant I got to spend some more time with my friends enjoying wearing our own choice of clothes to school (non-uniform day)

We actually all had a day off yesterday due to the teacher strike, which meant that I had a quiet day at home with the staple activities for the day being housework and revision. I suppose I could have gone out, but by the time I found out that the planned excursion had been cancelled I was too late to get a bus allowing me to spend a reasonable amount of time in town and decided it just wasn't worth it.

WHO WILL BE MY 100th VIEWER? Ah, the mysteries of life...

weekend blues

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-20 - 16:31:52

Isn't it annoying when you don't know if you have enough money in your account to buy what you want off ebay and the thing is ending in like a day and you know you wont get to the bank before that =(

Ah welllll.... so, apart from that life is ok. I've FINALLY finished all that homework the english teacher gave us (well the part that was in for tomorrow anyways). Then I had a maths paper to do (which I havent done so I'm just going to have to hope she doesn't check them) and about a million science sheets to fill in.

But now I've FINALLY finished I can sit down and relax...

Has anyone watched 'Bionic woman'? I just watched the first episode of it last night and it was really good. Beeter than 'Heroes' anyway, but I didnt really like that because it was too complicated.

Why didnt they ever carry on 'Ugly Betty'? I really liked that show =/

So yeah...

All revved up and no place to go (except the rugby match)

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-16 - 17:55:17

I love that song. I know Meatloaf is not really the popular music of my generation but I actually like his music quite a lot.

Anyways, my population rugby team won their match at lunchtime today, and since Charlotte was off making arrangement for her Duke of Edinburgh canooing trip I was spending the time with Andrew (and others obv). He ended up answering all my random questions about rugby and stuff. I really miss him sometimes because we dont talk that much any more so it was great to talk to him today. He makes me laugh.

So, eventually Charlotte gets back from planning her canooing thingy and she's carrying about 3 huge blue bags. It looked quite comical at the time and Charlie and I nearly killed ourselves laughing =)

Then we had to go to English, which was a drag because the teacher gave us homework that'll take at least 2 hours to complete, and this when we're revising for exams! It's just revenge because the head of english told her off for not marking our courseworks after someone complaind (or so they tell me)

And when I got home my job of the day was to scrub the porch floor. It didnt take me that long actually, and it's not that bad a job....

So, all in all, it was a good day. =)

All revved up and no place to go!

Beautifl package how i love thee....

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-15 - 16:58:16

I love geting packages. I mean, when you buy things online it's annoying having to wait for them to arrive and everything, but when you get in from school and there is a package with your name on it sitting on the table....well it just brightens my day. It's almost worth the wait just for the good feeling when it finally arrives!

As you can guess, I recieved a package today of a CD that I'd ordered from ebay: Fallen by Evanescence. Has anyone else got it? Well, I know it's quite old but I've FINALLY got around to buying it and people were right, it is better than the new one!

I especially like 'bring me to life'. It was the first song I ever heard by them and I've always loved it. I didn't like the video for it though. I mean, the song is about vampires so why werent there marble courts and vampire girls/guys in the video? I was a bit disappointed really.

But I did get a package today =)

Baking, oh the joys

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-12 - 18:41:19

I made shortbread today. I was well proud beacuse for once I actually didnt do ANYTHING wrong! Just thought you'd all like to share in my moment of triumph there...

I also made some scones, but the less said about that little incident the better. Lets just say that baking is not my greatest talent =S

In other news I also got to feed about 14 lambs this afternoon (nowhere near as fun as it may sound) because mum has decided that 14 is way too many for her to do. Oh the joys of living in the family home... we even have a ginger lamb that I call carrot top. I'm sure it had a proper name once but I forgot it. =)

A gorgeous guy and a beautiful day

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-10 - 17:36:09

Well, in case you're wondering today was a lot better than yesterday in a lot of ways.

Firstly, Charlotte is no longer ignoring me , the cause of which I have discovered to be my lack of response to a comment she made either yesterday or the day before about me 'not liking her any more'. As you will be able to see if you know the mind of a teenage girl, this is a grevious offence which merits her to sulk for at least a day. I have today been able to fix the situation, which is good because I missed her company. I mean, there were the usual gang around at lunch but its just not the same without Charlotte.

Now to the gorgeous guy I promsied you in the title. As you wont know, I've been talking to this guy Jonny for a couple of weeks. He's really hot and he lives near enough close by. The only thing is that he's into cars =S. Dont know if I told you about the ex but he was totally different, though thankfully this 1 still likes video games (what choices i make eh lol). He's brightened up my day for like the 10th time and he makes me smile so I thought I'd tell you about him =)

Also the sun has been shining, stupid birds singing again and I managed to set up my paypal account at last!

So all in all it's been a very profitable day.

Incense, friends and all things me

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-09 - 17:24:46

My birthday was ages ago (February) and for my birthday a couple of my friends - knowing what a candle freak I am - got me some incense. I burn the stuff constantly now, and it seriously smells SO good! I had doubts at first about some labelled 'sweet cherry' but it is a totally amazing smeel which is nothing like what i dreaded it might be...the only problem I found with all my lovely incenses is how to put them out if I dont want to burn it all at once? I eventually solved the problem by snuffing them out on my windowsill...not the greatest of places but it does the job.

I have a feeling that Charlotte is ingor-e-vouzing me. I'm not sure exactly why but I think she's mad because I wasnt exactly in a talking mood this morning...oh well she'll come around in a bit.

By the way anyone bothering to read this should check out my profile on helium.com (under rainbowgirlx again)

So yeah... and now I'm off to do some ICT homework =)

school and how i survived it

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-09 - 17:08:01

As you may have guessed I have spent the best part of my day today at school. At school I learned many pointless pointless things that I will never ever need in later life if I live to be 1000. For example, inequalities in maths. I mean, what is the point?! I know I'm going to fail maths, as I hate it and wish whoever invented it would die. Twice.

But somehow I am now at home - alive - until tomorrow, when I have the joys of spanish to look forward to.

On the brighter side I dont actually have that much homework compared to what I usually get...

yes, I'm back!

by rainbowgirlx @ 2008-04-08 - 17:57:03

Well, well, well...it's been a long time since i wrote anything on here....

I've got a new hamster. Well, I've had her for about 2 weeks now and she's lovely. She's ginger and white and the thing that i bought her for is that one fo her eyes is red and the other is black, cool eh?

Exams are coming up soon, and I'm very much not looking forward to them. Especially the spanish speaking exam. I'm going to be a total nervous wreck that day! There is so much I have to learn for all the subjects, but I'm sure it'll turn out ok. These things generally do.
